Student Information and State Reporting

The duties and responsibilities currently performed by the Student Information and State Reporting Department are as follows.

Student database management (including data corrections, updating, reporting and auditing)

  • All electronic student record transfers via FASTER
  • Full-Time Equivalent (FTE)/FEFP (student funding formula) projections
  • Local electronic FTE reporting, FTE editing (amendments) and FTE correction 12 times annually, includes McKay and Florida Empowerment Scholarship (FES)
  • DOE end of year Survey 5 reporting and correction for 19 formats
  • Local contact for DOE MIS requests
  • Liaison with SKYWARD for DOE file changes
  • Manage FEFP Auditor General FTE Review process
  • Authorization, creation or modification of user security and profiles for student database (SIS)
  • Monthly DOE reporting of Discipline data
  • Annual DOE ESIR (school crime & violence) reporting
  • Data entry and reporting of expelled and alternatively placed students
  • Advance Placement, AICE, and IB Program stipends for teachers
  • 20-day membership report
  • Daily attendance report (by school) for DOH
  • Training end-users on Student Database
  • Develop "HOW TO" documents for student information processes
  • Maintain district Master School Identification file for DOE
  • Daily monitoring and responding to department TRACK-it (Help Desk) queue
  • Migrant Student Information Exchange (MSIX) quarterly submissions
  • Annual submission to DOE of Talented 20 student data
  • Submission of Bright Futures data three times per year
  • Support to district's 70+ school sites and programs areas (Regional Leader)
  • GED student tracking and data updates for graduation rates
  • Daily submission of transcript requests (inter-district, colleges and universities)
  • Support District Administrative Team requests for data, analysis and/or research
