Welcome to Public Relations for Marion County Public Schools. Our office handles requests for public information (FOIA), media inquiries, school-related questions and concerns, and other matters on behalf of the general community. We produce videos for the district, handle broadcasting and livestreaming of Marion County School Board meetings and work sessions, and share community-wide events including the Golden Apple Teacher Gala, Ocala Christmas Parade, and more.
Our office issues media releases for upcoming events, major announcements, and other district- and school-related matters. We also share various e-newsletters including "FASTfacts" and other publications regarding district events, issues, accomplishments, and more.
