The mission of the Operations Department is to provide reliable and safe bus transportation for students to and from school and ensure facilities are clean, healthy, and safe physical environments for both working and learning.

Marion County Public Schools Operations Department provides vital daily services for our schools to meet their educational needs today and well into the future. We directly support MCPS’s Strategic Goal of “Helping Every Student Succeed” by ensuring that our operational effectiveness and efficiency of resources align with our priorities.
